About the Filmmaker

Kevin Pison Piamonte is an associate professor at the University of the Philippines Visayas. He teaches courses in Advertising and Film.

“Baboy Talunon” (Wild Boar) is the 2nd short feature of Kevin Pison Piamonte.

His first short feature “Bukog” (Fish Bone) was a finalist at the 2020 Cultural Center of the Philippines film festival for alternative films.

As a filmmaker, his first full-length documentary “Lugta ke Tamama” (Land from God) had its World Premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in 2018.

Another documentary “Paano Mangin Bata” (How to be a Child) won as Best Story and 2nd Best Short Documentary at the DokyuBata 2020 of the National Council for Children’s Television.
